Natural marble table.


On the slopes of the vinyeard, terrace by terrace, CELESTE hurries to remove bunches of ripe grapes from the vineyards. This is CELESTE’s day-to-day life, a woman who grew up among olive trees and Douro vineyards. A way of life she embraced, in which she gets the support and the pleasure of taking care of the land. Inspired by this character, we developed the CELESTE side table. It is composed of a wicker basket or a cork tabletop that rests on a marble cylinder finished off with a half-sphere. The table represents a strong character that carries the grapes inside the basket on her back with the effort of her work. Thus, in an apparent balance challenge, the two simple geometric shapes are joined into a distinctive design that pays tribute to the farmworkers.

Materials: Estremoz marble from Portugal, oak veneer and wicker basket made of stems of osier. There is also the tabletop option in 100% natural agglomerated dark cork.

Finishings: Marble in polished finishing. Oak veneer with colourless matt varnish. Agglomerated cork and wicker basket with colourless aqueous coating.

Custom: Arranged with the client.

Shipping Policy

Our lead-time is 4 to 12 weeks (excluding transport) depending on the product, after receipt of payment/adjudication.
For pieces with custom features or for large quantities we reserve the right to agree with the client the time of delivery.

We deliver to UK within five to ten working days. The shipping costs depend on the location. The delivery method is determined based on the size and weight of the items in your cart when proceeding the order.

Our standard delivery provides you with a 24 hour, fully trackable service to your front door (Monday-Friday) from our delivery partners CTT, DPD, DHL, UPS and DSV depending on the size and weight of the items.

All our international orders through the Webshop are shipped according to the Incoterms® 2020 standards and typically travel by the Delivered At Door (DDP) term.

We strive to deliver your order as quickly as possible and the delivery time is stated on the product page. If your order contains products with different delivery times, your order will be delivered at the larger lead time.

If the packaging is damaged or bears other visible signs of defects, only acknowledge receipt on the consignment note subject to any damage to the contents or refrain from receiving the item and ask the driver to take it back.

Please be advised that the product(s) will require unpacking and inspecting for any faults or damage within 3 working days of receipt from DAM. Failure to do so may result in additional costs to replace the damaged item.

Missing items must be reported instantly to DAM through the email contact@damportugal.com


Refund Policy

No returns will be accepted without written consent from DAM. Unauthorised returns will be refused at the client’s expense.

Where an item is labelled “made to order” this means that this item will be made specifically for you by the supplier. We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for made-to-order items. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but rest assured, your item will be expertly crafted from the finest materials just for you.

All products are carefully packed up and inspected prior to shipment.

All our deliveries are covered by goods in transit insurance. However, the refusal of damaged goods in no way relieves the purchaser from the responsibility of paying the goods. In case of visible damage occurs in transit, the delivering carrier should be immediately notified with initial notification of intent to file a claim.

Damage of any item should be reported to DAM via email within 72 hours after delivery. Photographic evidence of the damage must be included in the email and sent to webshop@damportugal.com

We will then advise how to move forward with the return of your product(s) to DAM and all damaged goods will be replaced.

When sending any item back to us, it is important that you save all the original packaging. Please make sure it is packaged as it was when it arrived with you. If the packaging was damaged, extra packaging may be required. Customer services are on hand to give guidance on this.

If you need to return an item because it’s faulty, or because of something we’ve done wrong, we won’t charge you for the return/collection.

The delivery time of the replaced product will be arranged with the client.

All the damaged or missing products will be replaced, so money will never be refunded.
